The Altar Fellowship

The opportunity is here. Now we need to be ready.

For years, The Altar Fellowship welcomed people into a church building where lives were changed through youth programs, community outreach, food assistance, counseling, support groups, and genuine relationships. 

Then COVID changed everything.  We faced the difficult decision to leave our building and return to meeting in a home. While the location changed, our mission never did. We continued to serve, and care for our community—just in a different setting.

As we began looking toward the future, Hurricane Helene brought another unexpected challenge. Once again, circumstances beyond our control required us to adapt. Through every setback, God remained faithful, and our outreach continued to grow in faith, love, and service.

Today, we believe God has opened the door to a new chapter. We're exploring several properties that could become the next home of The Altar Fellowship. While we haven't selected a final location, each one represents something far greater than a building. It represents a place where children can learn, families can heal, neighbors can find support, and people can encounter the love of Christ.

Our goal is to secure a welcoming, permanent place to rent—a space where we can gather, serve our community, and continue growing together for years to come. Whether it's one of these locations or another opportunity God places before us, your generosity today helps make that future possible. Because of the incredible generosity of our church family, faithful supporters, and the success of our recent AGAPE Gala, we've already taken meaningful steps toward this exciting opportunity. We are deeply grateful for every prayer, every volunteer, and every gift that has brought us this far. Now we're asking our community to help us take the final step. This isn't simply about a building. It's about creating a place where families can grow stronger, youth can discover purpose, neighbors can find support, and people from every walk of life can encounter hope, healing and transformation.
